Atkinson plumbing has priced all of the above items and  currently chooses to operate on a referral basis , local small newspaper ad, our service trucks, and the internet for forms of our advertising.

Here is a brief description of  the prices for the above forms of advertising which will give you an edge in deciding which service company to choose.

· Local newspaper full page ad no color. $500.00 for one issue.

· Local newspaper business directory ( business card ) $20.00/week.

· Radio during peak morning show  $2000.00 for one month  Approx  30 ads @ 30 seconds ea.

· Television is relative to radio ads .

· Yellow pages full page ad with color added is  $2000.00 / month and you must lock in to that price for a minimum of 1 year.

· Magazine full page write up with photo and graphic in one issue  $2000.00.

· Flyers are all dependent on what you would like to have sent out  ( glossy automotive  2 sided add that you get  in you newspaper can cost  approx. $14,000 to issue through out the county.

· Referrals are priceless.

· Internet web site cost  average $30.00 for the month with approx $100.00 annual renewal fee.

· Service vehicle graphic can range from $400.00 for lettering to $10,000 for graphics like you might see on the union energy type vehicles.

 

Advertising accounts for a percentage of every job therefore the more a company spends on advertising the more they are going to be billing you to cover that advertising.

Here is an example of the possible hourly charge for advertising based on two different advertising budgets.

$200.00 per month budget x 12 months divided by 52 weeks divided by 40 hour work week equals  $1.25 per hour.

$2000.00 per month advertising budget x 12 months divided by 52 weeks divided by 40 hour work week equals $11.54 per hour.
